Montgomery Members of the Greater Piedmont Chapter of The Explorers Club were guests of the Fairfield 600 Hunt Club on Saturday, May 10. Under the verbose guidance of Explorer Jack Boggs, they hiked 4.25 miles from Monticello Road through oak and pine forests, under power lines, over railroad tracks, across an ancient Indian mound, by 18th century graves to the Broad River.Back at the club house four hours later, Chef Boggs entertained with locally- made moonshine and store- bought sandwich makings.
