      Brittany Powell, a senior graduating this year, has been accepted to the Chowan University Graphics Summer Camp, an affiliate of The Kreuger School of Graphic Communications June 22-27 in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Only 24 student applications are accepted from students in the Southeastern United States area.

      Students in Julie Sheehan's class at Killian Elementary have been using their knowledge of quadrants and grids in a multidisciplinary unit centered on an archeological dig. With the help of Greg Gable, who made arrowheads and tilled the area, Sheehan planned and designed an archeological dig for her students.
