Ten Falcons were honored on senior night as Ben Lippen hosted and beat region rival Heathwood Hall 7- 2 Tuesday, April 22.

It was the rubber match for the Highlanders and Falcons who had each won matchups earlier this season.

Ben Lippen pitcher Kyle Williamson was perfect through four innings not allowing a base runner.

The Falcons jumped out to a 7- 0 lead on two out hits from Rick Davis, Kyle Williamson, Justin Norris, and Rob Brigman. Williamson, Davis, and Norris were all 2- for- 4 from the plate. Eight different Falcons had hits and six different Falcons stole bases to go a perfect 7- of- 7. That's over 100 stolen bases for the season.

The Highlanders scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to make the final 7- 2. Walker Sojourner went 1- for- 3 with a triple and an RBI, Melton Bristow went 1- for- 2 with a run scored for Heathwood Hall.

Ben Lippen improved to 18- 5 (7- 2) and can win the region outright with a victory against Cardinal Newman Friday, April 25. Hammond (7- 3) and Augusta Christian (7- 3) are tied for second while the Highlanders are fourth at 15- 6 (6- 4).
