Virginia Felder Conn, 69, died on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, in Columbia, S.C. Ms. Conn was born in Raleigh, N.C. to John H. Conn Sr. and Virginia Guerry Conn. She is survived by a brother, the Reverend John H. Conn Jr. of Brookline, Massachusetts, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. More ... Buford Franklin celebrated his 90th birthday with a cake & ice cream drop- in given by his children at St. Andrews Lutheran Church April 20, 2008. Franklin has five children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is married to Virginia Kell Franklin. He was voted "Most Courteous" in college and all his friends and family still claim he is the most courteous, sweetest man they know. He has been honored in his service to St. Andrews Lutheran Men; the Ruritan Club; and his alma mater, Berry College, in Rome, Georgia.
