I enjoyed Warner Montgomery's article on the atomic bomb dropped on Florence in last week's paper. (I always enjoy Bob Ford's articles, too). Thought it might be of interest to know that somewhere there is a news film made of the area not long after the bomb was dropped. More ... One thing I've learned over the course of all these visits is that shows like ER and Grey's Anatomy are pretty much complete fiction. More ... I met James when I started climbing telephone poles. He was older than the other new hires and tried to be a big brother. Having spent some time in Davenport, Iowa, he was more worldly than the rest of us. James had kids the same age as mine, so we saw each other at little league parks and YMCA gyms. We had things in common and became friends. More ...
