      The Marriott in Downtown Columbia was the site of the Columbia Junior Cotillion's 14th Annual Spring Ball. Middle school students from Crayton Middle School, Cardinal Newman, Hand, Heathwood Hall, and Dent practiced manners, escort protocol, line dancing, the foxtrot, and the shag.

Petal Pushers Garden Club holds Annual Auction

      The February meeting of the Petal Pushers Garden Club was held at the home of Margaret Glenn. Co- hostesses were Betty Lewis and Joan Heard. The Annual Auction was the highlight of the meeting. As usual, Shirley Smith did a magnificent job as auctioneer.
