Historic Columbia Foundation is accepting nominations for its 2008 Preservation Awards, which recognize the commendable efforts of Columbia's citizens, architects, developers, and others whose preservation projects provide the distinctive character of Columbia's built cultural landscape.

The deadline for nominations is March 1, 2008. Nominations should be limited to finished projects that have been completed in the last five years and are located in Richland County or Columbia.

Awards will be presented at Historic Columbia Foundation's Annual Preservation Awards May 1, 2008.
