Columbia Theatre Community Central (CTCC), an online group of 300 active Columbia theatre practitioners, has named its 2007 Columbia Theatre Award winners.

These peer awards, nominated and voted on by the CTCC membership, recognize outstanding theatrical performances during the 2007 calendar year.

Moderated and founded by James Harley, the CTCC was formed in 2004 to create a sense of community among disparate theatre practitioners in the Columbia area and promote local performance.

In addition to providing a forum for theatrical announcements and the discussion of relevant topics, the CTCC regularly sponsors new play readings by local writers.

All of Columbia's theatre companies utilize the CTCC network, and most of the area's best and most active practitioners are members.

Garden at Workshop Theatre, directed by Dedra Daniels Mount with musical direction by Jonathon Eason.
