The Cotillion Ball, Dec. 27, 2007
      The Columbia Cotillion Club, a gentlemen's dance club founded in 1890, held its Winter Ball Thursday evening, December 27, 2007, at the Columbia Marriott. Four daughters and three granddaughters of members were presented. A reception and receiving line were followed by the debutante figure including seventeen guest debutantes. Friends, one is silver and the other gold

      Seven years ago, a small group of friends joined together to pray for Zohra Holsopple, a mutual friend diagnosed Farr with cancer. The group met each Thursday afternoon in St. Martin's in the Field's Chapel. After debilitating treatment, Holsopple's cancer went into remission. She continues to be an inspiration.
