Fourth amendment foils rookie cop
      The little guy near the front row is a dead ringer for Barney Fife, Sheriff Andy Taylor's bungling deputy from Mayberry. This real- life character wears a real police uniform loaded with patches and pins. On his belt is the usual: 9mm semi- automatic, spare ammo clips, handcuffs, plus a set of nunchaku used in martial arts.

Animation keeps reality's ugly mitts off
      The decision makers at Disney may want to reconsider the use of actual people in their movies because animated characters don't end up on the Internet wearing nothing but hairspray. They don't check themselves into rehab, and they don't run over paparazzi. I wish I could say that about real people.

      The U.S. Navy is spending $700k of our money on refurbishing a barracks at the Naval base in Coronado, California. The building is shaped like a swastika. No one has worried about the building's shape since 1967, when the facility was built.
