      Columbia High School survived a poor first quarter to overwhelm Keenan 41- 12 on October 12. Behind a strong rushing effort by Cedric Jeffcoat and an unrelenting defense, the Capitals blew past the Raiders to their eighth consecutive victory and remain undefeated in 2007.

Falcons strike first, but Bengals run away with win
      The A.C. Flora Falcons struck first but could not keep pace with the Blythewood Bengals falling 43- 22 at District Two Stadium Friday, October 12. The Falcons jumped out to a 7- 0 lead at the 8:35 mark of the first quarter after quarterback Drew Desmond found Carlos McCoy for a 22- yard touchdown pass.
