Mr. and Mrs. Walter Eugene Clark Jr. (Gene and Bessie) celebrate their 50th anniversary. They were married September 21, 1957, in Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. The Clarks have a son, Wesley Clark who is married to Pam; and a daughter, Rachael Harris married to David. The Clarks have four grandchildren: Casey Clark, Jeani Rae Clark, Jeremy Amick, and Kaylee Amick. In honor of the love their parents share, the children and grandchildren will hold a reception with friends and family, after which the Clarks will embark on a golden honeymoon to New England. More ... Columbia Classical Ballet held an evening of innovative ballet,music of Frank Sinatra sung by Trae Curley, wine and hors d'oeuvres, and an art sale September 16, 2007. Leaside was filled with tables of guests who enjoyed the Columbia Classical Ballet performers who are from New York, Los Angeles, Brazil, Hungary, Russia, and Columbia. More ... Girl is very excited to receive so many wonderful gifts; unfortunately, now Girl's hand is permanently shaped like a pen. More ... The first fall meeting of the Governor Joseph West Chapter, Daughters of the American Colonists, will be Tuesday, September 29, 2007, at the New Orleans Riverfront Restaurant in West Columbia. The meeting will begin at 11:30 am followed by lunch. The program for the day is Columbia Rivers and the Impact on Colonial Travel and Trade present by Mrs. Robin Calderon. More ...
