New from Spring Valley High School

Spring Valley 2007 seniors taking the SAT had an average score of 1039. The national average is 1017. Spring Valley Discovery 2007 seniors had an average SAT score of 1314 (297 points above the national average). The SVHS Exploration Program 2007 seniors had an average SAT score of 1115 (98 points above the national average).

SVHS will hold its Advanced Placement Parent Information Night Tuesday, September 18, in the Media Center from 7- 9 pm.

The Spring Valley Seniors taking AP courses had an 88% pass rate. The district goal is 70%. All courses had pass rates above the national average.

The PSAT will be given at Spring Valley on October 17, 2007. September 20 is the registration deadline.
