Mary Anne Mary Anne Five kittens and a momma kitty were all saved from a drainage ditch two weeks ago when the weather was 100 plus degrees. Absolutely not feral. These cats were thrown out of a home, most likely when momma turned up pregnant. Momma was very skinny but has filled out nicely in the last few weeks. All six are happy and healthy and have been tested. They have been well socialized here at the office of the City of Columbia Department of Public Works Street Division and love to be held. The kittens are on dry food now and should be ready to adopt very, very shortly. They are approximately six- seven weeks old. Momma is approximately two to three years old and is extremely talkative. She tweets constantly but rarely meows. She is affectionate and caring for humans as well as her children.

If you are interested in visiting or adopting, just call. These cats will go through the City shelter adoption process which assures they will be spayed/neutered and receive first round of shots. Cost is $68. Pick yours out before they go to the shelter!

Thanks to Elaine Gillispie for her love and care of these darling kittens who desperately need a loving home.
