 Kathleen Rogers holds a passion flower grown in her own garden. It is a genus of about 500 species of flowering plants.  The passion flower has a unique flower structure, which requires a large bee to effectively pollinate. Passion flowers are mostly vines, some are shrubs, and a few species are herbaceous.
