Brookland- Cayce marketing class and DECA Chapter silent auction a success
      The Brookland- Cayce Marketing Class and DECA Chapter would like to thank all the businesses that sponsored and donated to the 1st Annual Silent Auction. They were able to raise over $650 and donated a portion to the Red Cross.

Richland One students excel in math competition
      Dreher High School's math team won first place at the Furman University Wylie Mathematics Tournament. Dreher math team members Philip Cross, Noah Fram, Nick Adkins, and Austin Hanlin finished first in the Division II- Small School competition. Phillip Cross and Noah Fram received honorable mention in the Senior Exam section of the competition.

Glenforest students become writers and performers
      Glenforest School students are rewriting the rules when it comes to people's perception of learning differences such as dyslexia and severe difficulty in reading comprehension. For many of the school's approximately 110 first through 12th graders, reading and writing is a challenge.

Young people find they can make a difference
Lutheran Youth conduct hurricane relief work in Alabama
      Seventeen youth and six adults from Good Shepherd, Incarnation, and Christus Victor Lutheran Churches of Columbia traveled to Mobile, Alabama, April 11- 14, 2007, to conduct mission work in areas still suffering the effects of Hurricane Katrina, a year and a half after its assault.
