Anglican Church of the Epiphany holds synod

Rt. Rev. Paul C. Hewett, bishop of Diocese of the Holy Cross, identified the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, 2512 Beltline Blvd., now to be the Pro- Cathedral of the diocese.
Clergy, delegates, observers, and guests gathered at the Clarion Townhouse Hotel Thursday, May 3, 2007. Clergy from 13 states came to the Synod; Mass., Conn., N.Y., Penn., Md., Va., N.C., S.C., Ala., Tenn., Tex., Wyo., and Colo.
The Pro- Cathedral parish is a Catholic and Evangelical parish in the Anglican tradition and is affiliated with Forward in Faith International.
Business of the Synod was conducted at the Pro- Cathedral where an Evensong Service was held at 5 pm and a Morning Pontifical Mass will be held Friday, 10 am. There will be Morning Prayer Service on Saturday at 9 am afterwhich the officials will disperse.
