 CW2 Austin Norris and CPT Brian Pipkin, members of the S.C. Army National Guard and of the 1/151st Attack Bn., were honored by Gov. Sanford who cited their effective bravery in Iraq, Dec. 2004. Norris was wounded, and he returned to S.C. to heal; afterward he insisted on rejoining Pipkin back in Iraq.
