Richland County Public Library offers computer classes for adults

The Richland County Public Library is offering three classes to help adults learn to use computers, the Internet and various electronic resources at several library locations this fall.

Computer Comfort: Introduction to Computers , which teaches adults the basics of using computers, will be held at:

+ 9:30 am, Thursday, September 7 and Saturday, October 7, Southeast Regional Branch, 7421 Garners Ferry Rd., 776-0855.

+ 7 pm, Thursday, September 14, St. Andrews Regional Branch, 2619 Broad River Rd., 772-6675.

+ 6 pm, Tuesday, September 26 and Tuesday, October 17, Main Library, 1431 Assembly St., 929-3457.

+ 11 a.m., Mondays, October 2-30, North Main Branch, 5306 North Main St., 754-7734.

Computer Comfort: Catalog & Internet , which teaches adults how to find books, manage their library record and search the Internet, will be held at:

+ 10 am, Saturdays, September 2 and November 11, Northeast Regional Branch, 7490 Parklane Rd., 736-6575.

+ 10 am, Wednesdays, September 13, October 25 and November 1, Northeast Regional Branch, 7490 Parklane Rd., 736-6575.

+ 9:30 am, Thursday, September 14 and Saturday, October 14, Southeast Regional Branch, 7421 Garners Ferry Rd., 776-6675.

+ 7 pm, Thursday, September 21, St. Andrews Regional Branch, 2619 Broad River Rd., 772-6675.

+ 6 pm, Thursday, September 28 and Thursday, October 26, Main Library, 1431 Assembly St., 929-3457.

E-tools: Finding Your Answers with Research Tools , which teaches adults how to use the library's electronic resources, will be held at:

+ 9:30 am, Thursday, September 21 and Saturday, October 21, Southeast Regional Branch, 7421 Garners Ferry Rd., 776-0855.

+ 10 am, Saturday, October 14, Northeast Regional Branch, 7490 Parklane Rd., 736-6575.

+ 7 pm, Thursday, October 19, St. Andrews Regional Branch, 2619 Broad River Rd., 772-6675.

The one-hour classes are free, but registration is required. To register, call the appropriate library location.
