Richland Two offers adult education

The Adult Education Program of Richland School District 2 is enrolling for the 2006-07 school year. Classes begin Tuesday, September 5. The Rogers Center offers classes for students to complete their high school diploma requirements, to prepare for the GED test, to learn English as a Second Language and Adult Basic Education. Enroll at the Rogers Center, 750 Old Clemson Road between 8:30 am and 3 pm Monday-Friday. Call (803) 736-8787, ext.317 or visit the center's web site, www2.richland2.org/tech/rogerscenter.

Diploma classes are offered Monday through Thursday, 8:30-12:30 am. GED preparation classes are offered Monday through Thursday 8:30-10:30 am or 6-8 pm. English as a Second Language classes meet Tuesday and Thursdays 6-8 pm.

Registration has begun for community education classes. Early registration is recommended. Call 736-8787 ext. 317. All classes meet at the Rogers Center.

Introduction to Computer Class is intended for the beginner. Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-3 pm or 6-8 pm from September 6-October 2. $60. Seniors 60 and over $30.

Introduction to Computers II is for people who have completed the Introduction to Computer Class. There are eight sessions. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1-3 pm, September 5-28. $60. Seniors 60 and over $30.
