Parents start campaign to cure childhood cancer

She and husband Clay lost their nine-year-old son Killian to leukemia in 2003. Determined to help find new cures for cancer, she developed the concept of Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer.
Grainne and Clay have three other boys: Pierce, Garrett, and Finnian. Grainne is also an accomplished business leader, having served as International Affairs Advisor to the London Stock Exchange. A native of England, Grainne now lives in Marietta, Ga. with her family.
Clay is senior director of media relations for Cingular Wireless. He served as chief spokesman for Cingular during the first five years of the company's life, and directed Cingular's media relations efforts during the company's $41 billion acquisition of AT&T Wireless. Clay has won many of the PR profession's top awards including the Golden Phoenix and the Silver Anvil.
