Dear Star,

I read with interest about the fireflies lighting up in a syncopated rhythm, and that only three places are known where this rare species occurs. Well, now four can be known. All around my house this happens. I live in a cabin just off a spring that feeds into a pond in S.W. Fairfield County. The spring is Bethal Spring which eventually flows to Morris CK on to Little River and then the Broad.
