He collected a save coming on in relief in the ninth inning to shut down Cayce. Four lead changes, two dramatic late home runs, and a one-run victory make for a perfect rivalry game.

Terry Oldaker hit a two run bomb in the eighth inning. Then he took the mound in relief in the ninth to preserve an 11-10 victory for West Columbia Post 79 over visiting Cayce Post 130 in an American Legion battle Monday, July 3, 2006, at Airport High School.

Cayce was up by as many as three runs early and down by three heading into the sixth. Nick Thompson's two-out single in the eighth scored Curtis Murphy from third and gave Cayce a 10-9 lead. Five batters later, Oldaker put West Columbia up for good.

West Columbia im-proves to 6-7, while Cayce falls to 5-8.
