Greyhound Lifesavers Youth Group will hold a Greyhound Dog Wash/Bake Sale July 8 at Wet Nose Oasis, 320 Broad River Road, 11am-3 pm. 429-4209

ART

Children of Hope 2006 Art Exhibit will run through August 27 at The Columbia Museum of Art, 1515 Main Street. The exhibit displays art work created by children with cancer and blood disorders. Sponsored by Palmetto Richland's Center for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders, Children's Chance, and a group of special donors, the "Art Angels", exhibit will be open to the public Wed.-Sat. from 10 am-5 pm, and Sun. from 1-5 pm.www.childrenschance.org.

The Columbia Museum of Art will present Perfect Likeness: European and American Portrait Miniatures from the Cincinnati Art Museum August 18-October 22. Related programs and events will also take place during this time. 799-2810

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 1100 Sumter St., will present the Cathedral Choir Send- off Concert, Wed., July 12 at 7:30 pm. Contact Doak Wolfe, 771-7300. The 58th Annual Bazaar of Trinity Cathedral is set for Nov. 11, 2006, 10am-3pm at Trinity, 1100 Sumter Street. The agencies selected to receive the majority of the funds are Free Medical Clinic, Healthy Learners, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Hanna House, and Columbia Bethelem Community Center. DANCE

The USC Summer Dance Conservatory will hold two sessions for children ages 4-10. The Princess Program will be July 10-14 and July 17-21 from 9 am-noon. Participants will be instructed in classical ballet, jazz, pantomime, acting, tap and stage make-up application.Tuition for each session is $120 per week. Contact Susan E. Anderson 777-5636.

The Greater Columbia Chapter of the U.S. Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association (USA Dance) will hold a dance, Sat., July 22 from 7:30-10:30 pm at the Hugh Dimmery Memorial Center, 680 Cherokee Lane, West Columbia.
