letter to the editor
On March 31, I left my home in Florida to visit my father in West Virginia. I was passing through Columbia in the wee hours of the morning when the water hose on my car broke.
We found a closed Goodyear Auto Service on Forest Drive and waited for them to open. We were blessed to find such wonderful young men to help us.
Over the next 18 hours and a series of events that happened that day, they helped us step by step not only that day but for over the next few weeks.
They went above and beyond the call of duty for myself and my brother.
I just wanted the city of Columbia to know they have some of the most honest, helpful, and friendly people I have ever had to deal with in this great country.
Thank you again guys, keep us the good work, and God bless.
So, Columbians, when you go to these guys, tell them Sherry sent you.
