DANCE

Pavlovich Dance School is offering Nutcracker Boot Camp June 5-July 20. Students will learn choreography, be fitted for costumes, and be precast for roles eliminating the need to audition for ballet in the fall. The summer dance program offers techniques and repertory classes taught by professionals who trained in Russia and The Royal Ballet. Nutcracker Boot Camp will take place at Pavlovich Dance School, 25 Forest Lake Place, Monday through Thursday. Ages three and one half to adult are welcome. Call 782-8847.

Time to Dance featuring slow dance and swing is being offered free by Sal and Janice DiMaria of Fred Astaire dance fame at St. Joseph Parish Hall/Gym each Friday, 10 am-11 am.

FESTIVALS

Forest Acres Festival will be May 13, 10 am-4 pm at the AC Flora Athletic Field. The free family event will feature Blue Highway and Bill Well and The Blue Ridge Mountain Grass. It is sponsored by The Rotary Club of Forest Acres and the City of Forest Acres. The event will include music, carnival and pony rides, rock climbing wall, face painting, food from local restaurants, and artists.
