The good folks from Conway are used to tourists driving through their community on the way to a bigger and better destination, but the visiting Conway Tigers could not have expected this.

The Spring Valley Vikings welcomed the Tigers to Sparkleberry Lane Tuesday May 2, 2006, for an opening round game in the Class 4A State Playoffs. They then proceeded to dominate the Tigers in every facet.

Sean Flynn opened the scoring for Spring Valley with an easy left footer that scooted under the hands of Conway's goal keeper barely two minutes into the match-up. Seventy-eight minutes later, the Vikings had earned a 14-0 victory. Conway never even got a real shot off.
