Miss Demeter and Mr. Sosbee exchange vows April 8, 2006

Mrs. Herbert Daniel Sosbee IIIMrs. Herbert Daniel Sosbee III Marjorie Elizabeth Demeter and Herbert Daniel Sosbee III were married April 8, 2006, at the Kershaw Cornwallis House in Camden, South Carolina. The Rev. David Covington performed the double-ring ceremony. Music was provided by Blake Wells who sang God Bless the Broken Road and The Lord's Prayer.

The bride is the daughter of Carole B. Wells of Camden and Peter A. Demeter, also of Camden. Her grandparents are James and Marjorie Bundrick and James Demeter and Marion Bowers. The bride is a graduate of Camden High School and Coker College with a BA in social work. She is employed by Mercy Ministries, Inc.

The bridegroom is the son of Herbert D. Sosbee Jr. of Horrell Hill, South Carolina, and Vicki H. Sosbee of Lexington, South Carolina. His maternal grandparents are the late Cecil L. and Hilda H. Hutto. His paternal grandparents are Herbert D. Sosbee and the late Ruth B. Sosbee, both of Horrell Hill.

The bridegroom graduated from Lower Richland High School and Clemson University with a degree in forest resource management. He is employed by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture.

The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, James S. Bundrick, and her uncle, James F. Kelly. She wore a strapless, candlelight, gown with a beaded bodice. The matron of honor was Dolly Irick of Camden. The bridesmaid was Stephanie Sosbee, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Madison Sosbee, niece of the bridegroom.

Chad Sosbee, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Rob Harwell; Andy Demeter, brother of the bride; Brad Bennett; and Jimmy Kelly, uncle of the bride. The ring bearer was Cameron Sosbee, nephew of the bridegroom.

The reception was held at the Kershaw-Cornwallis House. After a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the couple will reside in Camden.
