Glenforest School gets new head

Glenforest School is pleased to announce the installation of our new School Head, Dr. Gillian Barclay-Smith. Born in Shropshire, England, Dr. Barclay-Smith received her MA degree in English and German Literature from the University of Duesseldorf, Germany, and her PhD. in Education from USC.

Glenforest School, founded in 1983, is a K-12 school for children who learn differently. Located in West Columbia, Glenforest believes that if children learn differently, they should be taught differently. Glenforest offers small class size, individualized attention, and high student to teacher ratio. Dr. Barclay-Smith believes that, "We need to find, nurture, and celebrate the strengths in every child."

Glenforest School is 501(C)3 non-profit private school.
