Hammond's Grayson Hart hits a backhand during his doubles match. Hart won his singles match over Brandon Bogle 7-6 (7-1), 6-4 and partnered with Bryce James in doubles to defeat Henry Gunter and Brandon Bogle 8-3.

Cardinal Newman's Tripp Volk outlasted Hammond's Ishan Dasgupta in two sets and a tie-breaker and won his doubles match with partner Brandon Briggs, but that was it for the Cardinals. Hammond won five singles matches and two doubles matches to defeat Cardinal Newman 7-2 Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Hammond.
