Columbia's Jamie Gunter shot a 79 to defeat Hilton Head's David Politi by one stroke to win in the Championship Flight of the Columbia/Midlands Amateur Golf Tour.

Other Flight winners were as follows:

A Flight: Columbia's Paul Morario shot a 76 to beat Lexington's John Tucker.

B Flight: Columbia's John Daniel defeated Gaston's Tom Hawn in a playoff.

C Flight: Les Bradstreet shot an 81 to beat Wes Gentry.

D Flight: Gaston's Ben Trasher shot a 90 to beat West Columbia's Tom Haddad.
