The SC Dharma Group will present a celebration of Losar, the Tibetan New Year, March 19, 6-8 pm at the Big Apple, 1000 Hampton Street. The New Year dates from 6th century BCE in Tibet and became a Buddist festival in later years. To welcome the Year of the Fire Dog, the group will be led by Geshe Dakpa Topgyal, authenic Indo-Tibetan cuisine with live music, and a Tibetan cultural presentation.
