Frances Morris was the hostess for the February meeting of the Petal Pushers Garden Club. Morris. Her co–hostess, Ruth Rachel, served delicious refreshments. Sonia White presented a program on English gardens. Her slides were beautiful and she captivated the members with her charm and knowledge. The English style is endlessly workable if the right soil and locally adapted plant varieties are used.

English people love gardening, formal gardens for the large estates, cottage gardens for smaller homes, and if there is no yard available, they use window boxes and pots.

The March meeting will be at the home of Betty Lewis.
