Miss Wilson and Mr. deTreville exchange vows February 10, 2006

Mrs. Paul Blake deTrevilleMrs. Paul Blake deTreville Elizabeth Cook Wilson and Paul Blake deTreville were married Friday, February 10, 2006, at St. Joseph Church. The Rev. Timothy Tebalt performed the 6:30 pm ceremony.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Edward Wilson, is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dorothy Kelly Johnson and the late Mr. Jack Johnson, Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson Cook of Chester, South Carolina, and the late Mrs. Maggie Jewell Wilson. She is a graduate of Cardinal Newman School and the University of South Carolina with a BS in business administration. She is an account representative with South Carolina Embroidery.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cooper deTreville Jr. of Blythewood, South Carolina, is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Everett Hendrix and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cooper deTreville Sr. He is a graduate of Cardinal Newman School and the University of South Carolina with a BS in criminal justice. He is employed with Control Management Inc.

The bride wore a formal gown of ivory Italian satin. The sleeveless gown designed with a boat neckline was accented with a ruched sash at the natural waistline which fell into an A–line skirt embellished with beaded alençon lace. Covered buttons and a bow with streamers accented the back of the semi cathedral train. The bride wore her mother’s cathedral length veil that was embellished with alençon lace trim.

The maid of honor was Dorothy Kelly Wilson, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Margaret Colvin Wilson and Jane Owens Wilson, sisters of the bride; Jeri Barre Cason; Erin Whitworth Chilton; Chelsea Lauren Grimsley; Sarah Rhett Kibler; and Alison Jan Kuhlmann. The junior bridesmaids were Kelly Elizabeth Davis, cousin of the bride, and Ann Delaney Mealing.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. The groomsmen were Christopher Hughes deTreville, brother of the bridegroom; Brooks Allen Brewer; David Blakely Burnside Jr.; James Bowman Chocklett; Thomas Hayes Drake; Joseph Carleyle Lemmon; and Cole Rexford Thompson. The ushers were George Bellinger Davis II and William Bowen Hough, cousins of the bride, and John McCabe Asay Jr.

The reader was Natalie Louise Zimmerman. Greeters were Whitney Elizabeth Hendrix and Lindsay Paige Hendrix, cousins of the bridegroom.

A reception followed the ceremony at Forest Lake Club. After a honeymoon to Playa Blanca Lodge, the couple will reside in Columbia.
