I was reading Warner M. Montgomery’s article “Lithuania, A new democracy, a new friend” on the Columbia Star Web site this afternoon. I found his article very interesting. I was born in Lithuania but at the age of nine moved to Canada.

I greatly appreciate his kind words about my country and its people. The only thing I wanted to point out, is that the official name is Lietuva not Lietova. But nevertheless, thank you for the article as it portrays Lithuania just the way it is, a beautiful country with down–to–earth and inteligent people.
