Mrs. Dustin Glenn Day
Mrs. Dustin Glenn Day Toni Noel Kirkland of Columbia and Dustin Glenn Day of Lexington, South Carolina, were married Saturday, December 17, 2005, at Southside Baptist Church. The Rev. Dan Graves and the Rev. Dr. L. E. Williamson performed the 6 pm ceremony. Music was provided by Tom Brunson, Noreen Davis, and Billy Grubbs, soloists; and English Morris, organist.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dwane E. Kirkland. She is the great granddaughter of Mrs. Marie Huff of Conway, South Carolina, and the late Mr. Royce Huff, the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hicks, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ira Trotter. She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hicks and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kirkland. The bride graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in political science. She is employed with the South Carolina Employment Security Commission in Columbia.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lanny G. Day of Lexington. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jewel Garvin and the late Mr. Theodore Garvin of Athens, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Day of Red Bank, South Carolina. The bridegroom graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in finance. He is employed with UPS in Columbia.

The bride arrived at the church in a white horse–drawn carriage accompanied by her father. She wore an elegant strapless princess ball gown of ivory matte satin. The bodice of the gown was embellished with scattered pearls and a beautiful corset detail. The skirt of the gown was complemented with a chapel– length train. The bride also wore an ivory satin hooded cape trimmed in fur and carried a fur muff.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. The matron of honor was Ashley Stoneburner and the maid of honor was Kim Kirkland. The bridesmaids were Bethany Callahan, Elizabeth Chambers, Caroline Doyle, Meredith Fallin, Sherry Kyzer, Catherine Merchant, Meaghan Peake, and Amelia Wilson. The honorary bridesmaids were Kelli Crosby, Kimberly Garvin, Stephanie Garvin, Tiffany Jones, and Stephanie Sharpe. The laurel girls were Gabby Fallin and Emily Rosenfeld. The flower girl was Windi Hicks.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. The groomsmen were Richie Day, brother of the bridegroom; Will Eudy; Micah Garrison; Jason Jones; Kris Kirkland, brother of the bride; Eric Sherfield; Mark Stoneburner; Jason Styles; and Tripp Taylor. The ushers were Bryan Doyle, Josh Rosenfeld, Nick Rosenfeld, Tim Rosenfeld, Daniel Tuten, and Craig Wilson. The ring bearer was Jon–Eric Kirkland, nephew of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Kip Burgess were greeters at the ceremony. Elliott Rosenfeld and Patrick Rosenfeld gave out programs. Holley Doyle and Jay Kirkland were bell ringers.

A reception was held at the Pine Island Club following the ceremony. After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in West Columbia, South Carolina.
