Gilbane Building Co. has been selected by the University of South Carolina to provide Construction Management at risk services for the construction of a parking garage and laboratory project. The parking garage shall consist of a 1,400 space garage. The laboratory project shall be approximately 110,000 square feet consisting of bio-medical wet labs. The budget for the parking garage and laboratory building is approximately $40 million. The parking garage and laboratory building shall be constructed at the University of South Carolina between College & Greene Street and between Lincoln Street and Park Street, Columbia, SC.

All interested subcontractors and suppliers must be pre-qualified in order to bid portions of the work. The pre-qualification process will include a review of your capabilities, experience with similar project scope, financial, reputation and safety record. Only pre-qualified subcontractors and suppliers shall receive an Invitation to Bid.
