Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals was honored nationally for excellence in marketing by the 2005 Telly Awards program. Providence received the Telly for its HeartBeat educational program on the Women’s Heart Center. Providence produces its HeartBeat program with Zero Gravity Project production company.

The National Kidney Foundation of SC has awarded Leevy’s Funeral Home the Angel Donor Award for its charitable support of the foundation. Managing director Chris Leevy Johnson has been a loyal kidney car donor for several years, donating five vehicles to the program.

Mary Pat Baldauf , executive director for Keep the Midlands Beautiful , has received the Professional Leadership Award by Keep America Beautiful. The award is the highest professional honor given by Keep America Beautiful.
