Amanda Green Benton Mrs. Patricia Gatewood Love Shealy and Mr. Robert Julius Benton III announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Green Benton, to William Wolfgang Kuenzel.

The bride–elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. James Knox Love Jr. and the late Mr. Love, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Julius Benton Jr. of Winter Haven, Florida. The bride–elect graduated from Dutch Fork High School and Lander University with a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She received her master’s degree in early childhood education from the College of Charleston. She is presently employed as a second grade teacher at Boulder Bluff Elementary School in Berkeley County, South Carolina.

The bridegroom–elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Trivette Kuenzel of Millers Creek, North Carolina. He is the grandson of Mrs. Roy M. Nixon and the late Mr. Nixon of Lowes-ville, North Carolina, and the late Eleanor Kuenzel of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and the late William R. Kuenzel of Wilkes County, North Carolina. The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a bachelor of science degree in Computer Engineering. He is self–employed and co–owns a personal training business in Charleston, South Carolina. A February 11, 2006, wedding is planned in Charleston, South Carolina.
