The Columbia Medical Alliance is celebrating 23 years of a sell–out fashion show to benefit health related charities in the Midlands.
Since 1983 more than $300,000 has been contributed to such organizations as The Columbia Free Clinic, Family Connections of SC, Children’s Hospital, The Caring House, SisterCare, Ronald McDonald House, Edventure Children’s Museum, Palls and others. The funds are awarded by a committee of the Alliance after reviewing a list of applicants.
Couture 2005, entitled “She’s a lady,” will be held Monday, November 7, at the Marriott Hotel downtown. The fashions will be provided by Coplon’s as they have been for the past 23 years.
Shops in the Atrium will open at 9:30 am followed by the luncheon and fashion show at noon. Complimentary parking will be provided.
Tickets which cost $45 can be purchased by contacting Mary Vande Stowe, 736-4867.
