Last Friday night during a lightning storm Cardinal Newman defeated Robert E. Lee 17–0. Rosia Schiano was crowned Homecoming Queen at halftime. Lauren Gualin was runner–up.

Cardinal Newman’s Jarred Newton rushed 11 times for 152 yards and two touchdowns. Garrett Hall had nine tackles, two for loss, and one sack. Crawford Melton had 13 tackles, and Thomas Winstead had two interceptions.
