Shirley Smith, auctioneer extraordinaire, once again guided the annual auction of the Petal Pushers Garden Club to a successful and enjoyable conclusion. Members and guests enjoyed Smith’s clever efforts to increase the bidding.

One member, Ruth Rachal, remarked she had not laughed so much in ages. Margaret Glenn was the hostess and Nell Dreher, co–hostess. They served delicious refreshments before and after the auction.

The November meeting will be at the home of Drucy Siokos.
