Philip Gregory, 2002 graduate of Hammond School, completed the Nissan Xterra USA Championship Mountain Triathlon Competition. The race included professionals as well as members of the US Olympic team. Gregory, 21, is presently a senior at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has been invited to participate in the Mid–Atlantic Regional Winner for Men ages 20–24.
