Mrs. William Bradford Lindsey, M.D. Sarah Katherine Finlay and William Bradford Lindsey were married October 15, 2005, in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. The Rev. Charles Davis performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Philip Alan Finley of Sumter, South Carolina. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Rolland Holl of Savannah, Georgia, and Mrs. Beryl Craig Finley of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Levi Finley of Pickens, South Carolina. The bride graduated from Wilson Hall School in Sumter and the University of Virginia with a BA and the University of SC School of Medicine with a medical doctorate. She is employed by Palmetto Health Richland and is a third year pediatric resident.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roy Lindsey III. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Francis Carlisle Roberts of Columbia, and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Roy Lindsey Jr. of Chester, South Carolina. He graduated from Hammond School, the South Carolina Honors College of the University of South Carolina with a BS in biology and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine with an M.D. degree. He is employed by Palmetto Health Richland as a third year resident in internal medicine, chief resident.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a designer gown made of iridescent organza. The tops of the shoulders were adorned with crystals and hand sewn seeded pearls. The waist was a modified bisque with the same crystals and pearls. The chapel train also was adorned with a trim of crystals and pearls.

The matron of honor was Tricia Finley Thompson, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Traci Wright Finley, sister–in–law of the bride. Readers were Elaine Mary Ackerman and Michael Alan McCrory Wilson.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. The groomsman was Harry Roy Lindsey IV, brother of the bridegroom. The ushers were Alan Christopher Finley, brother of the bride; Daniel Lewis Thurman, brother–in–law of the the bride; Timothy Regnell Ackerman; Charles Mackie Butler; Benjamin LeJeune Butler; and William Dagnall Meetze Jr.

A reception was held at Millstone at Adams Pond. After a honeymoon to Florida, the couple will reside in Columbia.
