The bazaar, sponsored by the Daughters of the Holy Cross, is one of the largest in the southeast. It offers a sidewalk art exhibit featuring the work of local artists and artisans, a children’s carnival, barbecue lunch, concerts and tours of the cathedral. Over 15 booths plants, new clothes donated by upscale shops, children’s handmade clothes, Christmas items and its famous bargain basement (good, used clothes for only a few dollars) and Trash and Treasures, a huge garage–like sale featuring everything from computers and baby strollers to fine antiques, all at nominal prices.

All net proceeds go back into the community for outreach projects, via non–profit agencies which are selected yearly. This year, they are Columbia Oral Health Clinic, National Alliance for Mental Health, The Nurturing Center, Still Hopes Wellness Center, and the SC Youth Advocate Program.
