South University is celebrating its 4th anniversary of obtaining University status this month as the institution continues a period of significant growth and expansion.

“In just four short years, South University has established itself as one of the premier private institutions in the country,” said John T. South III, chancellor of South University. “Since introducing master’s and doctorate degrees in October, 2001, South University has grown to include highly sought after programs such as the anesthesiology assistant, physician assistant, online degree programs, and a School of Pharmacy.”

In Columbia, South University currently offers degrees in accounting, business administration, healthcare management, information technology, legal studies, medical assisting, paralegal studies, and professional counseling.

South University is a private academic institution dedicated to providing educational opportunities for the intellectual, social and professional development of a diverse student population.
