Forest Hills held a lemonade social in honor of their favorite letter carrier, Cheryl Miller. Sam Clarke, neighborhood president, took up a collection to give as Miller’s parting gift. Host Catherine Mabry organized the catering supplied by her neighbors.

Miller has walked the neighborhood between Gervais Street and Forest Drive for the past six– and–a–half years. She will soon take a new route in Columbia with a little shorter length and not so many steep hills.

Miller’s daughter Kia and her husband H.J. attended the goodbye party along with a hundred Forest Hills neighbors.
