Moonlight Movies on Main will present My Big Fat Greek Wedding at 8 pm on Boyd Plaza in front of the Columbia Museum of Art. The movie is in celebration of the Greek Festival at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church to be held next week. Greek Festival dancers and Greek music will begin at 5:30 pm and the Greek Boys restaurant will serve food from 5:30–8 pm. Admission and parking are free. Call 779-4005.

Congaree National Park will hold an Owl Prowl at 7:30 pm for two hours. The walk is free, however reservations are required and can be made no earlier than two weeks in advance of each walk. Call 776–4396.

Part 2 of Henry Moore: Carving a Reputation will be shown at 7 pm at the Columbia Museum of Art. Free with museum admission or membership.

Richland County employees will hold a large rummage sale from 9 am–2 pm at the County Judicial Center. All proceeds go toward breast cancer research. Call 576-1944 or 748-4919.

Proof will run at the Sumter Little Theatre September 15–18 at 8 pm on Thursday– Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Call 775-2150.

Trenholm Road United Methodist Church will kick off it’s program “Get a life!”, an extension of “Growing through divorce”, with An Appetizer with Mayor Bob . Mayor Bob Coble will share a favorite appetizer and answer questions about the city from 7–9 pm. The cost is $5 payable at the door. Call 254-6695.

Volunteer–guided walks are given the third Saturday of every month at 9:30 am during the fall and spring at Congaree National Park. Also, new ranger–guided walks featuring Congaree’s old–growth forest and giant trees every Saturday at 1:30 pm. Visit www.nps.gov/cosw.

USC’s School of Music presents a Slavic and Russian program featuring works by Borodin and Dvorak at 3 pm in the school recital hall. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for USC faculty, staff, and senior citizens, and $5 for students. Call 576-5153.

The SC Shakespeare Company will kick–off its 2005–2006 Season with Man of La Mancha at the Finlay Park Amphitheater. The show runs September 16–17, 21–24, and September 28–October 1. The show begins at 8 pm and tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and military, and $5 for children 12 and under.

USC’s Young Artist’s Workshop is set for Fridays from September 23–November 11 from 4–5:30 pm in McMaster College. The workshop is for students ages 6–17. Fall art classes are $65, children of USC faculty, staff or students receive a $10 discount. To register call 803-777-3137.
