The South Carolina Council for Social Studies (SCCSS) unanimously selected Richland Northeast High School's Perry McLeod as the high school Teacher of Excellence. He will receive his award at the SCCSS state meeting on October 1 in Columbia. Perry is lead teacher for the 'Our Local Greatest Generation’ project, which won the SCCSS Program of Excellence award last year.
