Elizabeth Legare Cox Mr. and Mrs. Artemas Elliott Cox announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Legare Cox to Kenneth Mack Tucker Jr.

The bride–elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Clarence Otto Kuester Jr. and the late Mr. Kuester of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Radford Brantley Cox. The bride–elect graduated from Hammond School and Hollins University with a BA in economics with a business concentration. She is an Ed.S. and M. A. candidate for school psychology at The Citadel. She begins an internship in school psychology with the Division of Genetics and Developmental Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in July.

The bridegroom–elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Virgil Pierce and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Dewey Tucker, all of Demopolis, Alabama, and Mr. and Mrs. John Edwin Stallings Jr. of Cuba, Alabama. The bridegroom–-elect is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a BA in construction management and a minor in studio art. He is employed by Mashburn Construction Company in Charleston, South Carolina.

A November 12, 2005, wedding is planned at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.
